In all my years of being in various buildings, function rooms, offices and other air conditioned spaces, I've never encountered perfectly distributed air temperature. There will be places that are colder or hotter than others.

However, the best solution I've seen for evenly distributing the air is with electric fans.

Now that sounds funny. Why use electric fans in an air conditioned room? Precisely as I said, it's to distribute the air temperature.

How it's going ?? ...Yeah.. Well.. I do believe that best approach will be to use a good nice size big fan first at all. Also by the use of supply and returns fans as well. By using the ASHRE tables and charts ( Short Forms ) I do believe will be the best bet. Balancing the area at the end by temperature recorders at all strategic areas you are more concern will help you with such project. Allset, have fun and great day...!

Cool;

Distribute the Discharge air to the load bearing wall. EX. (for instance in A residential house you would direct the air to the exterior wall, windows, doors where the heat load is entering the occupied space, this will cool the infiltration area and the space between the wall, door, window will be returned to the return air entering the unit to be treated and dehumidify. Moisture, humidity removed from the area dries the area and dosen't feel sticky and creates A desireable Enviroment).

I completely agree with what Vulcan said. I read a document on the net sometimes ago its state 'using fan in an air conditioned space will further reduce the temperature of the space by 2 degrees Celsius' It means if temperature of the room is say 18 degrees celsius with fan the temperature will drop down to 16 degrees celsius. In other words using fan (especially ceiling fan) in a conditioned space not only distribute conditioning air but it also increase the efficiency of your air conditioning unit.
