Wind Load in Jordan

03/14/2008 4:41 AM

I was wondering if anybody would have the wind load for the Kingdom of Jordan. Which standards are used (e.g. BS, ASCE, ...)? We a currently looking to build outside signage / pylons there and need to calculate the wind load. Any help is much appreciated! Chris

Have you considered checking with their weather bureau or environment ministry? If you're not in the country, try checking with their embassy, and if you're in the US, perhaps you can check with the NOAA as well.
