In a boiler the water is heated and is at the critical point where it is getting ready to change phase from a liquid to a gas.

You can go to the following link to find the critical point in your application.

http://www.spiraxsarco.com/us/resources/steam-tables/saturated-water.asp

Something that the above will not tell you, is why boiler carry over (when boiler water is sucked out through the boiler and into the header) occurs, and how it can be prevented.

For additional information on how a boiler operates, see the following:

http://www.spiraxsarco.com/resources/steam-engineering-tutorials/the-boiler-house.asp

I hope the above helps.
