Uni-directional Vs Bi-directional transformer

Can someone tell me what is the main constrcutional difference between Uni-directional Vs Bi-directional transformer.

OLTC shall be compatible for bi-directional power flow.

Is there any other difference is the transformer construction. i.e core or winding.
