Hmmm, why would you need such contractors? To listen to the news 50% of the population of Ohio is unemployed and the rest are about to loose their jobs, so you could not possibly have work to be done....

Just because your out of work doesn't make you a millwright. Millwrights are highly skilled professional workers, adept at crane operation, rigging, welding, machining, and every aspect of construction. General laborers are millwrights in training. I'm sure such company's exist in OH. I listed a company, that did work for us in MA. They were on time, professional, safe, and within budget. Perhaps some company's like this exist in OH too.

"Just because your out of work doesn't make you a millwright"

I never said that it did.. I am sorry but you seemed to miss the point of my post, and my apologies for taking the thread off topic.

My point was that the news makes it sound like no one can find a job in Ohio, that everyone is unemployed. Yet here is someone looking for help to get work done there..

Makes a person wonder what the agenda is in the reporting.

No apologies needed. I'm sure ther are plenty of qualified millwright company's in OH, no father away than the yellow pages. However, we do like a personal reference. But for the really big stuff, you probably have to go national, and that's not what he seems to looking for here. He should look in OH first. Christ, if there aren't millwrights in OH, where would they be?

I am unsure of the no work available in Ohio statement. I am sure that if somebody wanted to apply themselves with initiative only then they could have a job tomorrow. Although I am looking for skilled labor and not just someone off of the street. Most of the work is done in smaller segments which most millwright company do not want to mess with.
