iron slag recycling

is there a process to recycle iron slag from a coreless induction furnace so that it can be put back in the furnace it came out of ?

Why would you want to, it's a contaminated by-product. Many companies crush it, bag it, and sell it as a abrasive.

Thank for your reply. We get alot of slag from production and was just wondering what other in house uses we might be able to use this slag for, but your answer seems to be the only use for this slag. I guess I was just researching whether slag is reuseable for any other purposes. Thank you again for your response.

Blast furnace slag is also used in making concrete. Good stuff! Tought to work, but greatly improves strength when used properly.
