fixture design

i need the formulas for finding "the clamping force while DRILLING operation" with details for the designing of fixture for multi functional valve

If you would be so kind as to register on CR4, I or others will be pleased to help you with your fixture design. I have designed and built many hundreds of machining fixtures, and never had the need to calculate clamping forces. A few minutes of looking at the part and the fixturing usually becomes obvious. Since this is mostly intuitive based on experience, the best thing would be to show us the part.

Correct fixturing and nesting isn't something you get out of a book or from a formula . Always keep it simple and try to fixture as ridged as you can without damaging, distorting or flexing the item being fixtured.
