You want to build one from scratch? Are you an Electrical Engineer with years of experience in power electronics, PWM theory, Power Quality design and distribution equipment? I doubt you are, because you didn't even catch that you were off by a factor of 1000 on your initial inquiry and you apparently do not even know that the universal abbreviation for Watt is W, not wt or wtt.
Besides, the cost for you to build one on your own using discrete components or even sub assemblies made by other people will far outweigh the cost of just buying a complete 1kW inverter already made. You cannot possibly compete with the economies of scale in that regard. However if you live in a country where you are restricted from purchasing one, my sympathies. The process is far too complicated to attempt as a do-it-yourself project in my opinion.
