boiler

we have got a chimney of 121mtrs. of height. At 119 mtrs there is given some horizontal plates. Why? At outer periphery why fins are provided?

Check up your Boiler file and ask the chimney manufacturer as to the Why.

Suggest you go to your local library and pick up all books on Boilers, read and do your own assignments.
