5 w 2h will let us help you.

Who what when where why how how many.

Where are you? WHo are you close to?

WHAt companies and materials are you planning on working with?

etc. etc.

If you are near a steel bar cold drawing mill or an aluminum extruder, if their die angles are not right, the material can form internal ruptures or chevrons.

You could work with them to create dies to create these internal bursts, then figure out a cheaper way to find them thanusing coupled ultrasonic end shots or longitudinal traverses of each bar. sonic tuning comparator/ harmonics? dimensional changes at circumference of each rupture? how to use ut more cost effectively in line and in process. or capture the sonic signature of the material rupturing.

But if you aren't near a cold drawing mill, these are just words on a screen.

But imagine if the steering shaft on your car or the prop shaft of your boat had these...

I'll appreciate seeing your proposal when you turn it in.
