A little more info would help...

What voltage?...is the cable buried or on cable tray?...

i am assuming it is underground and the voltage is 3 phase 415 volts, current 24 amps,..

3 core X 10 sq mm will do the job.

Cheers.

Cheers

Hi,

In this case first should know that type of material, of which the cable will be made. Now we can calculate the size of the cable using following formula.

Now,

R = K * l/A

Hence,

A = K * l/R

Whwre,

K = Coeff. of conductance

l = length of the cable

R = Resistance
