I think you should adjust the nut behind the wheel!

There are three things an ICE engine requires to start. Compression, fuel, and ingnition or spark. Check each one carefully.

Engine should turn over easily, i.e. well lubricated, normal compression, etc.

A good grade fuel should be supplied by carburetor or injectors in the correct amount at the right time.

Spark plug should be clean, proper gap, and furnished with the proper high volatage at the right time. Check the distributor and high voltage wiring.

Modify the above list to adapt it to your particular engine.

sir, what part of the system is challenging to start?

the tractors main engine itself? the diesel engine powered water intake pumpsystem or is it the high presure discharge pumping unit?

relating what part of the fire truck's components you are experiencing problems with in a way that is understood by the persons you seek answers to your problems from is half way to having them solved.

"sir, what part of the system is challenging to start?" SQ 4,129

The engine of course. I don't connect anything to it until it is running!

That is why there are gear boxes etc.

Please explain what engine is used in this fire truck. I am not familiar with that brand.

Consider the age of the fuel in the truck. Has the truck been used enough to keep the fuel changed regularly? Has algae started to grow in the diesel? Has anything changed since the truck started well? The more information you can provide, the more hopefully this site will be.
