The internet is already compromised. File sharing, as this article indicates, is simply sharing or enabling sharing of copyrighted work by A. N. Other. It is what is called a victimless crime until you are the one who holds the copyright/produced the work and thus lost the income and seen your ideas being used by someone else. In business it is sometimes called asset stripping, or some other politically correct phrase.
