when the load of the synchrnous motor moving at synchrnous speed change the power angle change but speed is constant.when the load increases the power angle

increases.this is calledn Hunting

synchrnous motor runs at synchrnous speed 120*f/p.when load increases load angle changes and increase the speed and maintain constant synchrnous speed .the power is maximum when load or power angle is equal to power factor angle(theta)
