Problem with bass18.dll in vb6

I can not use bass18.dll or bass.bas file in my project. It shows a message saying memory could not be "read". Please tell me how to fix this problem..

Can you give an idea as to what it is? I searched Visual Studio 6.0 Help for "bass" and "bass18", and neither produced any hits. Also tried an Explorer search in the "Visual Studio" & "Windows" folders, with no luck.

Actually i'm gointo make a sound card oscilloscope. I couldn't find any code that can get data from sound card real time. This bass18.dll does, but it crash vb very often. so thats it.

All looks OK. Sorry, I don't have time to try it right now.

I've got a horrible feeling that something (unknown) on your particular set-up is interfering. Trouble is, it's down to "MS blames 3rd party, 3rd party blames MS" (again). Have you tried contacting Un4seen? (no point trying MS - they'll deny everything).

If I get a chance sometime I'll have a better look. Sorry can't be more help.
