Can you be a little more specific in what kind of tissue repair you are looking for? Vascular? Cardiac? Ectodermal derived tissue? Endotherm (Liver, pancreas; Mesoderm (Bone, muscle, cartilage)? Also, look at the various work and history for tissue repair in texts such as Biomaterials Science; 2nd ed; Edited by Ratner, Hoffman, Schoen and Lemons; Elsevier Academic Press; 2004. This is quite up to date.
