Why do you want to appear more intelligent or powerful than your fellow students (who are modest and build ONLY a receiver OR a transmitter) if you aren't really ?

And instead of working out your lack of knowledge you want others to do your work and take credit for this. Are you going to apply for a management carreer ? There you very often meet people proceeding this way.

Apart from that, what is a trans-receiver ? I know a transmitter, a receiver and a transceiver which is a combination of the first two devices.

Talk with the students who build a receiver and build one, too. Then you have 50% of your transceiver.

Then talk with the other students who build a transmitter and build one, too. Then you have the other 50% of your transceiver.

If you keep it simple it will be possible - the internet is full of home-brew schematics.

Transceiver is a combination of a transmitter and a receiver. Not a simple addition because some circuits are use in both mode, for example the mike preamp can be used as AF preamp in the receiver. First you have to chose which band and what mode you want to use - it's also a legal issue, you have to check the local regulations. Then, you have to visit your fiend - Google - and search for a "simple transmitter"...

Spell check is the abc check icon.

Typical to what I know about radio, a transmitter is a reversed receiver. In other words the circuit transmits from power input.

The trick is to send power through the circuit and onto the antenna for sending, and for receiving a message capture and amplify the signal received.
