Standard for Sizing Rivets to Hole Diameters

05/06/2008 12:55 PM

Can anyone reference me to an ISO, SAE, or ASTM standard for this?

I was not logged in on the previous attached so I may not get the response.

Hi,

I can tell about the Indian standards (IS) which normally follow the (ISO) standards.

IS:2155-1962 , GENERAL PURPOSES RIVETS (below 12 mm dia)

IS:4040-1967 , TUBULAR & SEMI-TUBULAR RIVETS

IS:1929-1961 ,GENERAL PURPOSES & BOILER RIVETS (12 to 46mm dia)

IS:1928-1961 , GENERAL PURPOSES BOILER RIVETS (12 to 46mm dia)

There are some more standards which are of special types.
