Cable separation

05/06/2008 3:40 PM

Can I run Modbus cable and network cable with Foundation cable, instrument cable in a same tray. Can anybody help me to find out international standards for power, instrument and control cable tray separation ?

If both cables are tray- rated, yes. You need to check the cable mfr's spec for appropriate UL listing. Also get yourself a copy of the Code book NEC 2008. Get it from the NFPA or any technical bookstore.

Ideally both cables will be either PLTC or ITC/PLTC rated. We can supply both stock to 10 days
