Can I Replace MRF151G by BLF278?

I have a VHF circuit with RF mosfet MRF151G failed.Can I replace MRF151G by BLF278? Does any one can help me solved this problem? Thank in advance!

Depends on the circuit. The MRF is a higher power device with a higher Vds rating (without looking at any of the other details) - you'd need to check what the circuit operating parameters are.

Hello, i would say yes, here we all replace both types without changing pcb .

So no problem (you should check bias voltage for each type you replace)

Hello. I have been using the mrf151g for many years with good results. Did you change the device for the 278 ? thanks mark.
