Pipe usually holds pressure and is rolled or can be seamless, normally metal but pvc is used too. Commodities are gases, liquids, water. Tube and pipe can be the same thing sometimes.

Ducting is usually used for HVAC applications at atm or just above and is normally used for delivering conditioned air. HVAC ducting can be steel, aluminum, fiberglass etc. It is important to make sure your ducting does not leak.
