Hi Guru,

thank you very much for your reply.

unfortunately the question is not about a specific area. we have mining projects everywhere: north america, south america and europe. all i need to know is some links which guide me what the civil engineer should cover in the mining site? what is the acope of his work? what are the requirements? what calculations will be required? the reason for my questions is because i havent tried this fielf of civil engineering, and about to move in this field. i was looking for some heads up before the start

thank you very much

Jeff

Hello again, talent1

What you are asking here, is for a huge amount of information, far more than may be placed into a simple Post here at CR4 Forum.

If you are a genuine Engineer, you should know how to obtain the information you ask for, mostly from textbooks.

So that you can get started, try the following:

Marks' Standard Handbook for Mechanical Engineers

SME Mining Engineering Handbook, 2 Volume Set (Second Edition) (Hardcover)

Add the excellent SME Mining Reference Handbook (Paperback)

These will cost you some money, but it will be very well spent.

Those above, and similar Technical Books are full of a wealth of information, more than is available generally on a few webpages.

Trust that starts you off on an interesting journey.

Kind Regards....
