Flexible Elastomeric Mesh: "FlexNet" or "Pellicle"

08/03/2006 2:06 PM

Miss E writes:
I need to purchase flexible elastomeric mesh, the kind that is used as seating for high end task chairs (example the Aeron chair by Herman Miller), both Flexnet and Pellicle are trademarks for Herman Miller and not available in the market for anything other than spare parts for Herman Miller's furniture...I am developing a new product and need something with similar characteristics: Semi-sheer, synthetic, flexible, somewhat elastic and incredibly durable mesh....do you know who makes this material? Or where I can find it in bulk/yardage?

Thanks, Miss E

I don't know if this can help you, but if you know what materials are involved, you might find more information here.
