Where would I get the data for the atmospheric air absorption in compressed H2O

05/19/2008 11:45 AM

Fellow engineers, where can I obtain the data for the air absorption rate in closed compressed water chamber. For example, under 10,000 kpa of pressure, how much of the original atmospheric air is absorbed into the water. Thank you in advance.

I don't know the answer, but it makes me want to ask a related question. How can you determine the difference between absorbed air, or just compressed air? I mean as you add pressure, the water will not compress, but any air in the chamber will compress.

Another related question, how are you applying pressure to the tank? Are you adding more water or more compressed air?

Please let me know, because you started my mind running and now it's going to be like a run away train till I figure it out....
