Lab equipment

Looking for comments on different methods used in petroleum labs for ventilation systems. Especially over gas Chromatagraphs, and mass specs. Used for hydrocarbon analysis. ?

Hello Guest,

Your Statement is quite wide sweeping, and may require hundreds of references and pages in reply.

That's my comment.

Perhaps rephrase your Statement as a Question.

Why do you need them at all? Seriously think about it based on the test equipment you mentioned.

Guest,

Check out the following publication by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH):

"Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice"

I believe that they are up to the 25th edition now, but any of the previous editions will suit you fine. The book is chock full of useful information on the design, operation & maintenance of industrial exhaust ventilation systems. The volume includes numerous tables, diagrams and design drawings.
