invert video

05/22/2008 8:18 AM

How do I find an in-line video inverter? I don't want to flip the sync-pulse too! I just want it between a camera and a projector to view a B on W scene as W on B.

Is it composite video?

If it is, its simple to make a sync seperator out of a few transistors and an op amp and then invert the video and add it back to the sync pulses. all done in real time.

Don't bother with specialised ics for sync seperation etc... by the time you've ordered them you could have something working on the bench!

Way cool! I have just 2 wires coming from the micro-camera, so I guess that is Composite? Can you get me links to these circuits? or better yet to a kit? I know transistor theory but little about practical circuits. I have seen circuits for using Commodore games on a regular monitor, but they inverted the sync pulses! I think I need to keep the sync because I plan on feeding video to an old projector.

Thank you,

.Jim H.

interest.

some projector has such functionl

and most of vedio or graphic processing software can implement it.

you cn connect your camera to computer by usb or firewire interface, then to projector after processing.

its belong to negative to photo(positive) processing. visversa
