You could try Rass-O'-Nil. I used it and have had no problems. I think the site is rassonil.com

Thanks

What materials and what temperatures? What is the ambient temperature, humidity and salinity?

Sorry for the late reply but only just searched and found this thread.

CUI is commonly treated in refineries now with aluminium metal spraying. This process is adopted and used by Exxon and Shell.

The insulation is removed, the pipes or vessels blasted clean and then metal sprayed with pure aluminium. The process is either flame spray (most common) or sometimes arc spray. Insulation is then reapplied.

In some instances, spraying is performed on live plant so downtime is minimised.

Thermal Sprayed Aluminium in this application appears to be only slightly more expensive than traditional coating methods but life cycle costs seem to show significant benefits whilst also reducing maintenance inspection periods and improving safety.

See content.nace.org/Store/Downloads/03029.pdf for a bit more info.

Contact Metallisation Ltd for more info on the spraying equipment and process.
