Who can furnish me the information on Solar Pump Maker ?

This pump should be in a position to lift sump water to first floor and another similar pump should lift the water from first floor to terrace with the help of Solar Energy.

If it is for India location Surya Solar located in Coimbatore and Central Electronics Limited could be useful. Hyderabad and Bangalore have a number of companies installing solar pv pumps. Local yellow pages can be helpful. There are solar thermal pumps you can consider which begins to operate once the sun comes up and keeps on pumping till the sun sets and this works on the heat difference and uses no external external power. These can be be very economical and trouble free.

The solar thermal pump mentioned by a previous correspondent is quite usually referred to as a "hot air engine" or a Stirling Cycle engine and was first used as a water pumping device in the late 18th century (the devices are over 150 years old). I suggest that you "google" "hot air engine" or Stirling Engine for more details. The main limitation here though is that they are generally very big for a relatively low output, so you would usually be far better advised to seek a solar power/electric pump combination. Mono Pumps manufacture a solar solution that uses a small progressive cavity pump that provides a useful output and does not require a lot of space.
