Hello nagyelsayed

You have not advised your dross source (feedstock), which makes advising you difficult.

Have you looked at:

http://www.springerlink.com/content/72w3344924343g68/

http://www.freepatentsonline.com/y2007/0022842.html

Also Refer: http://search.globalspec.com/productfinder/findproducts?query=furnace%20zinc%20recovery%20from%20dross

You will need to Register at the above globalspec Site, because it is on a different webserver from CR4 Forum.

Registration is free, and takes only a few seconds.

Advise if that assists you.

Kind Regards....

Thanks very much

My dross is a by product of hot dip galvanization of fittings (malleable cast iron fittings) and we have produce abot 80 : 100 ton/year bottom dross and following is the analysis of this dross

1- Zn = Rest = 93 : 95 %

2- Fe = 2.1: 2.5 %

3- Si = 0.12:0.20 %

4- Pb = 0.1 : 0.3 %

The skimming ash of kittel is about 60 ton/year

The analysis is about 80 % Zn

We need to extract the pure zinc from these products in our factory to reuse it .

we have in Egypt an old fashion

The following is the complete information about our dross and skimming ash

1- we are producing malleable cast iron fittings and galvanized about 30 % of our product by hot dip galvanization.

we have 2 - by products

1- Bottom dross (80:100Ton/year) its analysis Zn = Rest (93: 95)% ,Fe= 2.1 :2.5 % ,Si = 0.12:0.3% Pb = Max 0.3 %

2- Skimming Ask (from surface of zinc bath)

Zn= about 70:80 %

The complete analysis of ash know i have not know but i can get it

please if you need any information i am here waiting your advise
