How to #1 equa's & graphs - #2 find a comment

05/31/2008 1:12 AM

I have been out of touch with you folks along time. Some time has been working on some great new TTOE problems: Multiple-Body problems: Solar system and atomic fusion (lots of little sub-particles here).

The questions:

How to put equations and graphs in conventional formats with my comments?

How to find a particular comment in the thread of comments in a CR4 blog?

Its easy to find threads in CR4 even without using the in-house search engine...

Just put the search words into google and add CR4 ....

For some reason Google loves these pages!!!

"How to put equations and graphs in conventional formats with my comments?"

Try MS Word.doc or get a .pdf editor.

Further to SS's comment... (as I feel pretty certain that soar wants to put the equations into his CR4 posts/comments)...

Use ms Word's "Equation Editor" for starters, to create the overall look of your equation, then do a screen capture (Prnt Scn key), and paste the screen capture into "Paint" (or preferably a slightly better graphics program).

Crop-out just what you need, and tweak it a bit using the graphics tools. Save it as a .gif or .jpg imag. Then, when you are typing your post/comments and you want to insert your equation, click on the "Camera" icon (at the top of CR4's "Comments Editor" window) , and use the "Browse" button to find your equation-image on your pc. Need further help...(?)... "Ask, and it shall be given"...!

I'm still using a version of Mathcad I bought a long time ago. You can copy formulas and equations and paste into another document.

Are you free to tell us a bit more about your fusion experiments?

I have done some in the past and am seeking funding to continue those.
