Displacer Mounting Details

Dear Frnds,

For displacer type level instruments,how should we establish mounting congiuration

(Side-Side/ Side -bottom)

My appliaction is for

1) Condenser ( Sheel n Tube)

The displacer type level transmitter needs to be mounted vertical. saludos

Side and bottom seems OK to me unless the space is limited.

Then you would go side-side like in a very small boot measuring interface.

With side -side connections the vessell nozzles need to be jig set(very accurate dimension) to match with the dimension of displacer.

With other configuration you have some flexibility in the piping.

I apologize josej. I misunderstood your question both side-side and side-bottom will work. I will recommend that if you go side-bottom, a drain valve is installed directly on the bottom of the displacer chamber to make it maintenance friendly.
