Another Car that Runs on Water

06/06/2008 11:40 AM

Another guy who thinks his car gets a million miles per gallon by running on water. Not a whole lot of specifics, but I'm wondering what everyone here thinks (if you couldn't tell I'm more than a little bit skeptical).

Water Car

P.S. I wasn't sure which forum to use, so I chose new tech.

The masson jar under the hood was the first sign that this is a scam the second sign is that the local news only gave him a few seconds of air time. The third sign is his explination "When you separate the water from the oxygen from the hydrogen, it cooks and it cooks down to a brown,".

yeah, this was my assumption, but I'm not an expert in this area so I wanted to get a more educated opinion.

A good scam indicator:

"I've just been asking for a way, for the Lord to show me to raise money rapidly and I started to working on this idea," Brown said.

I asked a couple of weeks ago where is the critical eye of the engineer, and one of us made a thread with this question. It seems that although the discussion derived (which I deeply regret) the question still may stay valid.

Every body knows that water is the result of a combustion and that it is necessary to introduce energy to part the molecule in its components. By simply pouring water in an engine it without an external energy to separate the components and use them for a new recombination and get some energy to move the vehicle. The basic laws of physics say that you cannot get more energy than you put in a system. So assuming there is a source in the car to part water in H+O the recombination will NOT bring more energy than introduced and it will not be any energy difference available for the car move.

I am sincerely surprised that to day with the broad diffusion of knowledge and technology it is still possible even for a TV local chain to bring such a ..( i do not know which word I should use and stay polite) on a screen. Even if it happens the fact that it is shown it is not a guaranty of what is claimed every body knows that at least not all what press people report is true.

After so many years of putting politicains on the screen they have lost all hope for ethics in the media.
