Hi Engineers, I have to install & do the commissioning commercial type ice plant for the palnt main power supply have to give with armoud cable from main panel to ice plant . distance is 30 meter with 4 No's. bends ( 120 degrees ).

ice plant power 440 V ,3 phase , maximum Amps 180 A. 3 core cable has to use.

I need to know,

1. What size main breaker ( amps ). need to use .

2. Armour cable ( 3 core ) size diameter, & each wire ( core ) diameter size,

PLCs., this very urgent,

This is the most basic of electrical engineering principals and I feel that if you need to ask an anonymous internet forum for this kind of help, you are not an Electrical Engineer. So therefore I believe it would be irresponsible for any of us to help in a situation where you may kill yourself or someone else. Please please please hire a qualified electrical engineer to do this project.

Besides that, there are local codes and regulations involving the sizing of components that must be considered. Only an EE in your country can responsibly answer those questions.

Hi,

Use 440 V, 225 A Moulded Case Circuit Breaker, 1C x 120 sq.mm for each phase and for neutral 1C x 95 sq.mm shall be used. The cable shall be circular or flat armoured either and shall be fire retardant with Lead Sheathed PVC Insulation.
