Hey I heard of an early 1922 Bentley 3.0 litre Chassis No 141 Discovered as Barn Find in England in 1987 and was awaiting restoration I believe it was a tourer/touring and then converted to a Woody Station Wagon (Estate) I later heard it now exsists in Australia.

Can tell me about the car and reference to that article/s

Thoroughbred & Classic Cars (GB) 1987 SEP issue page 18 Volume 14 Issue #12 in the Discovered section

The car was first registered in England new as Reg XM6761;it was built on a short chassis bentley ; and the first owner was Dr RO Ward in Sept 1922 ; The car should have according to Bentley historians Engine#190 but has #62 fitted which was never issued to a new car according to late Michael Sedgwick ; The car as of 1987 was at the Donington Museum awaiting restoration; story by the late Michael Sedgwick

The car was originally a tourer/touring then converted to a Tow Truck then a Woody Station Wagon as found

The Car was competively raced initially by its 2nd owner Captain John Duff at Brooklands in 1922 (and is Ist Brooklands Race Bentley)

The car no longer has the Woody Station Wagon body and has returned back as a tourer/touring with replica bodywork by Peter Fry of Perth Australia and 2006 was owned by Peter Biggs in his museum
