O. K., I refer you to this Wikipedia site about PID controllers. There is little else for one to tell you that isn't contained in that treatise.

If you have specific questions, such as, "How do I develop a mathematical model of my process so that I can tune a PID controller accurately," then perhaps someone can provide guidance. In the case just stated, you will need to provide all details of your process.
