transformer inrush current calculation

Transformer Rating =2500kva ,

13.8 KV / 480 V Transformer .

impedance valve =5.75%

Then How can I calculate the

transformers inrush current value and duration to issue the settings of the 13.8kV CB's.

or Give some examples to calcualte ?

Hi,

Calaculate the rated curent on the HV side. When the transformer is not loaded, then at least 10 % above the rated current will be the. Once loaded the Load current and the respective load volatge will vary which will be adjusted by varying the tap.

The diiferential relay will bias the inrush current.
