Hello avinash,

Welcome to the land of possibilities! Here, we have our very own 'guru of the galaxies and beyond!' If you are interested in astronomical research you should look at some of the stuff Jorrie has been up to! Quite astounding to say the least!

has anybody heard from Jorrie lately? I may have to pose some Einsteinian conundrum just to coax him out....

Certainly Instrumentation is needed for Astronomical research. In India, you may contact IUCAA in Pune. www.iucaa.ernet.in or TIFR who run the world's great meterwave radio telescope (GMRT.... Great Meter Wave Radio Telescope), head office again in Pune. They will absorb you, if found suitable or guide you where you can nurture your hobby with earning the bread.

By the way, the server at http://www.iucaa.ernet.in/ was down as of 09:30 UTC.

I'll check again later. It looks interesting.
