RC Wall Design

Pls help me. I want to know about RC bearing load wall Design procedure according to BS8110.

Resistors and Capacitors are no good for building load bearing walls.

I was also thinking roller bearings (not loads) for the walls to move on...

I don't supose Razor clams can be found in the Bering Straits?

The best place to learn about 8110 is to get an explanatory book on it. If you can't get down to a bookshop, you should get one off the internet.

It really is too vague a question to be able to answer it in any meaningful manner.

Note that the UK will very shortly be withdrawing the BS8110 and replacing it with the Eurocode EC2 for Concrete design.

I know that the American version of the code for structural concrete design (ACI) has a parallel commentary that is excellent for comprehensive understanding of the code. I do now know if the Brits have a similar commentary - but my guess is that they would. I would check into it. If they have that commentary - get it!
