Bluetooth head phone help!

06/22/2008 5:45 PM

I have some new insignia head phones with blue tooth that I would like to use with my IPOD touch but am having difficulty since they came with PC based software and I have a IMAC. Does anyone have suggestions for mac software that is compatible ? or ideas to solve this dilemma? Thanks!

They can be compatible.... but you need a special USB adapter for the IMAC... , PC based software?? what are you talking about?? does it come with a USB adapter??

My wife uses this setup with her iPod mini and bluetooth headphones. It works well.

She uses these headphones. If I recall correctly, she didn't need any pc/mac (computer) involvment whatsoever. She also connects to her cellphone, which is an LG Voyager with these headphones. These headphones are pretty slick, you can listen to your iPod, but will stop when there is an incoming call from her phone. There is a microphone built into one of the ear pieces.

I read the specs on both the headphones and the adaptors (cellphone and iPod) and they do not mention any pc/mac format or any needed software. Computer interaction is not mentioned at all and I do not recall having needed a computer to set this system up.
