What could be most possible way to transmit a large stream of videos files from an offshore location to onshore office without break or interruption in transmission?
Satelite is the best way, but normal radio should also work, albeit slower, talk to any amateur radio Ham, a lot of them send and receive data all day with no problem, over great distances sometimes....
But why "without break or interruption"? If good computer software was used at both ends (compatible software of course!), then the breaks and interruptions (with radio and some satelite communications almost unavoidable!) will be fully catered for and any missing bits noticed by the receiving end (due to the algorythm used) and a request for a resend of the bits missing (usually called blocks in the computer indstry. A block is a number of bytes with a checksum, when the checksum does not tally with the data, then that block is resent) until the whole picture is received....... It is standard in the computer industry that any computer data MUST be received completely and exactly, so the computer industry has been catering for this for more than 30 years in many different ways.....
I feel the simplest and best method would be to use Ham radio software on PCs at both ends and a radio link between the two.... Encrypt the pictures before transmission so that nobody else can understand what is being sent, a simple .ZIP file would be enough there I feel, or PGP if even more security is required....
