hi,

any guidelines in selecting the CT rating to be used for winding temperature indicators used in transformers

pRIMARY CURRENT SHULD BE EQUAL TO RATED CURRENT & SECONDARY MAY BE 1.75 Amp OR 5 aMP AS PER THE WTI. CLASS 3 & VA 10/5 IS OK.

thanks for the reply. our transformer rated current(LV) is 629 Amps we have specified 630/5A CT with 20VA class 1 is this OK or can lesser VA rating be used.
