Car Motors Again

Ok I Got another Ideal for a car motor, Is there anyway to make a high rpm Hydraulic motor for a car?

Maybe... but take it back a step before thinking about the motor. Where's the high pressure/high flow hydraulics coming from to drive it? Crack that one first.

You can find several Hydraulic Motors that go as high as 3,000 RPM at this site:

Go to the "Motors, Hydraulic" link there to see all that are available and the specifications for each manufacturers design.

As mentioned, they do need a Pump to supply them and that Pump must be driven by some method.

Well, hydraulic transmission systems were employed in railway locomotives starting more than 50 years ago. The BR class 02, class 22 and the Deutsche Bundesbahn class V200 are good examples of the application of hydraulic power transmission to a self-propelled vehicle.

Note that the primary power was supplied by an appropriately-sized diesel engine in each case.

Many larger lawn mowers have hydrostatic transmissions and will be an inexpensive source for your experimental equipment.
