I have a problem .

- I am the Manager of optical fiber cables networks at TELECOM EGYPT ( TE ) . - I have a problem with FUJIKURA splicing machine , these problem is , when i am start splicing with it , it is make the aligning and after that it is stop and i have a monitor message as ZL MOTOR PROBLEM . - Plz. what can i do to fix these problem .

You may check up the motor for over loading, mechanical jamming. single phasing( if three phase motor), If all these points are verified then check the winding of the motor.If motor use a VFD (Variable frequency drive) then check the unit . if there is brushes or commutator /slip ring used check for cleanliness and contact.

So Sir ,

mechanical Splicing is done through it . Initial alignment is also being done . Maintenance support if not reachable or if no. of units are unserviceable - better to open one piece . In few cases , exchanging portion of units / component will be possible to make one serviceable .
Event about its unserviceability if brought out ; you can even estimate for recoverability .
