SS316L uses

NORMAL USES FOR SS316L WITH SULPHURE= 0.004% AND PHOSPHOROUS= 0.017% CONTENTS.

Virtually anything that needs no Caps Lock and some corrosion resistance.

I am usinging this material for ultra high pure gas piping for high pressure. in view of its low carbon content.

It also gets used for industrial clean water pipe, up to the point where the resistivity goes above 1 - 5MΩ.cm or so, beyond which PVDF starts looking really attractive.
