Hello everybody. Wish all are ok.

I'd like to ask u about some informations about the compressor in the air condition system in automobile.

I'd like to know how much power is needed to operate it( standard numbers or ranges for its power related to the car engine power)

I need it so much in my graduation project so, pls i need ur help.

Power utilised will be independent of engine power, depending on how much 'conditioning' is desired %age will be widely variable.

One way to find out would be to construct a dynamometer. Procure whole system, measure mechanical power in; cooling work out.
