Variable Current Source

hello, my name is sujith, i need a variable current source with a range of 1ma to 10 ma. i am all ready got the diagram of 4 to 20 ma, but i need variation from 1 ma. so kindly send any diagram which you have with this facility

put forward your diagram here at first, so we can change it into 1-10ma

in fact the 4-20ma is a standard interface circuit.

you can change resistor to satisfy iwth your need.

Most proprietary 4-20mA current sources have a 0-20mA setting.

Simple bipolar transistor is current source with the collector being the current source which current is regulated by the base current that can be varied by variable Vbe voltage over serial resistor.

There is necessarily a block anywhere in the shematic that provides offset to start with 4mA. If you can determine these parts then you can fix the problem or put your diagram here that we can fix it for you as cnpower said.
