Corderite in Ceramics for Electrical Fuses

which wil bethe best composition of corderite material in ceramics used in electrical fuses.

Hi Guest,

This is the chemical composition of Cordierite; (Mg, Fe)2 Al4 Si5 O18, If you change this composition in any way it ceases to be Cordierite!

There is a similar mineral called Osumilite; (K, Na) (Mg, Fe)2 (Al, Fe)3 (Si, Al)12 O30. H2O. but I do not know if this would suite your purposes.
