If you are referring to the "msg box" as the Forum Text Editor box, you placed a message of two smileys in your message just above.
If you are not able to type any text into the Text editor box, then you may need to close your browser, and clear the Browser cache, then restart your Browser, and arrive back here again.
This normally enables you to access the Text Editor properly.
In an extreme condition, you may need to clear the Browser Cache, and also re-boot (Restart) your Computer, then arrive back here and all should be well.

I have the same problem when viewing CR4 from Lotus Notes. Maybe there are other software products that are lacking in this functionality. I have to re-open the page I want to reply in IExplorer to post messages.

Thats all well and good on my home system, but at work the IT department have the OS nailed down so tight that you can't even change your desktop wallpaper.
What chance do I have of changing my browser???
