Thank you all

I got most the doc available at web site but unfortunately not clear how to dismantle the IQ 20 especially from the hand wheel side .I have tried all the possibility ex I hammered it from the other side no result , I'm worry if there is cir-clip behind or any other locking method. Can any one guide me to dismantle it?

Thank s

Hi,

Even I'm not very expert on this specific trademark of electrical actuators (I'm more familiar with those Limitorque, Siemens and Auma made or even old Rotork "A" series")

According to your OP, you have a problem with clutch. What is really the problem? Does the actuator function just in motorized position? or you cannot put it in "manual position?

This actuator type are not the most suitable for disassembly starting from handwheel.

Anyway if you have problems with the clutching system you will need to disassembly almost completely the actuator, so you need to begin uncoupling it from the valve and start dismantling the driving block as well as the motor and the connection box.

I'm sure the handwheel must have some locking device, otherwise it would be out of place just when trying to actuate it in manual mode (When you act on the clutch lever, you move upwards all driving column against the spring to engage the handwheel).

I've taken a look on the "Maintenance and Installation Instructions" and found nothing about the handwheel locking details.

Sorry

Good afternoon gentlemen

i am a rotork agent, and i am very familiar with the 1Q Range, your problem is the the handwheel is being held diown by a nylon rod, which is accesiable through a cap head screw, however if i had a problem with my car i would take it to a specialist i would not try to do the work myself.

You will have to buy the spares via Rotork ,ie. clutch spring and cam which is probably damaged to to excessive force whilst trying to engage the handwheel.

Please refer to the Rotork website to see possiable local representation

Regards
