Failure to conect to internet with phone as modem to pc

I've had some experience with this sort of equipment, but could you please restate the question. I'm really getting confused about what is getting connected to what and what is not getting connected to what!

Also - Who is your cell phone service provider.

Ok,you know it's possible to use a mobile phone as a modem to access internet on the pc.On my phone i have the internet option and i can access the internet.Now i want to use my pc to access internet,i installed the necessary software (nokia pc suite) on my pc. I connect my phone to the pc using a data cable,the first time i connected my phone to the pc i managed to access the internet but the following day i tried but i failed.Hope it's clear.

I'm wondering if this is going to be a recurring problem, or if it's just a singular fault? Could it be the ISP server was down temporarily, or the service was overloaded?
